Our school hours are from 8.55 am to 3.00 pm.

Office Hours

The school office is open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 8:00am to 2:30pm. If the office is unattended, please proceed directly to the classroom where a staff member will be able to assist you.​

11:00-11:40 First Break 
11:40-1:10 Middle Session 
1:10-1:40 Second Break 
1:40-3:00 Afternoon Session 

Daily Timetable

Children have a daily fruit break where they are encouraged to eat a fresh piece of fruit or vegetable.

Children sit to eat their lunch for the first ten minutes of each break. Children will then be allowed to play and use sporting equipment for the remainder of the break.

Children can borrow sports equipment during the lunch breaks. No equipment can be borrowed before or after school.

Parade

Widgee State School holds a parade every second Friday during even weeks of the term at 2:30pm in the 3–6 classroom. Families and community members are encouraged to attend and celebrate the wonderful achievements of our students.

Bus Times

A school bus is available to service students of the school. Please contact Linda Fallon (07) 54842127  .

For their own safety and the safety of all others, children travelling to and from school on the bus are expected to behave themselves. They come under normal school behaviour expectations and rules as well as the bus code of conduct. Children who continually misbehave and thus endanger lives on the bus may be stopped from travelling on the bus under Department of Transport guidelines.​
